My resignation was being officiated yesterday. Yea, one week before I leave. My contract says I only need to serve one week notice. I voiced my resignation to my superior and boss about a month ago. I knew if i were to leave immediately one week after, a lot of things will not be done properly and knowing how much workload my superior has, i couldnt just throw everything back to her and leave. Afterall, she treated me very well and taught me a lot. AND not forgetting she's a very VERY patient person.
I do feel more relieve BUT at the same time, as the date draws nearer, I feel excited and happy(finally can do wat i like), yet nervous, sad and worried (becos no more fixed income).

Assignments' weekend
Been busy over the weekends. I had to rush my assignments again. Seems like every month passes by very fast. Before i knew it, i need to submit my assignments again. My course subjects are getting tougher and tougher now. I'm starting to find it hard to cope. Especially when I'm someone without a related background experience. Most of my coursemates are already working in related field. The only reason they are doin this it's because they needed the degree. There was once they even corrected our tutor!! Whereas i dont have the slightest idea if i was taught correctly. =.="
Assignments are so tough this time around. I hope I can pull this through. Else, it'll be a waste of money.

Blog Skin
Oops! Was fooling around with some blog skins. Now i'm back to the plain template. Incase you didn't notice, some of my elements and gadgets' missing! Have to set and arrange them again!
Oh well, at least i learnt some things during my attempt to change the blog skin.
It's interesting to experiment and see how your blog looks like when in a different template. However, I havent found one that i really like yet..
If you have a blog, you might probably want to gif it a try at www.blogskins.com
Happy experimenting~!

Misi Mustahak
I was looking at Upin & Ipin's(Malaysia's 3D animation) website earlier on. Then i remembered abt the 3D animation, Misi Mustahak done by the creators back when they were still students of MMU. Went to search in YouTube and found the video. Here it is:
Hope you enjoyed it!

Pepsi New Logo
I dont have much to do lately in the office. I either ended up chatting, surfing net, or even worse...games! But less of games cz don't wanna be too obvious la. =P
Anyways, I was looking around and saw this article "Does Pepsi's New Logo Work?" at Before & After Magazine's Design Talk section. John really really gave a good analysis on it. You guys can read it at http://www.mcwade.com/DesignTalk/2009/02/does-pepsis-new-logo-work/
Can you believe they made the logo with the face into tshirts n sell them? Haha! This i give a thumbs-up!

Pepsi new logo
As how John has shown the below image on his page...It made wonder how much Pepsi has paid the designer.
Pepsi's new logo vs. Korean Air logo
Many comments voiced their dislikes, about how disastrous the logo is and gave thumbs down for the new logo. One commentator even posted a link to this image:

Heavy morning
This morning it was so hard for me to get up and prepare for work. I know many mornings are like that. But this morning i felt particularly heavy to get up.
Ever since I was sick last week, my shoulders and neck weren't behaving themselves. I would have a very sore feeling on 'em by the end of the day.
I usually would go for a traditional chinese massage nearby my place. It doesnt cure for good but at least it gave me temporary relieve. It's very painful tho. Have to bear with it if i want to feel better.
Another thing was that i really had no heart coming to work. Sheesh! Terrible me! Serve one month notice nia also want to complain so much. I cant imagine those of my friends that need to serve notice until 3 months! Well, supposedly I only need to serve one week notice but looking at the condition, I don't think it's enough time for them to get a replacement.
I'm so good right for giving them more time. Hahaha!!
Anyhow, I'm counting the days down. Cant wait!!

Shaanxi Grand Opera House (Tang Dynasty Palace Music & Dances)
Beautiful place. It's an Opera House where we can have our dinner too. It's like in those days when the Emperor is having his meal, there will be entertainment. Same concept goes for this.
We were served with mostly with dim sum. Tastes really good. Not like those you get in Malaysia.
There were 10 shows being put up that night. Dances, singing, music instruments...all shows has its meaning and story behind it. Okay, I'm not gonna upload all the photos here. You can see more at my Facebook.

China Trip-Part 2
24/2-Driver-cum-tour guide came to fetch us at 8am from the hotel. Then we dropped by Shuyuan hostel(we engaged tour from hostel) to make some payment and also for them to pick up 2 more ppl(Jeya & Silpa from London). The hostel looks cozy. We started to feel that we should have stayed there rather than in hotel. Too bad we've fully paid the hotel abo can move to the hostel. Save a lot u know!
Okok..back to my tour. We went to the Rare Animals Research Centre. Quite far-off. Two hours drive from Xi'an. I fell asleep in the car. When we reach the centre, wal lau weh...so damn cold! Nearly froze. Mostly there to see the Panda. Since we're in China, sure don't wan to miss out seeing pandas.
After we've finish touring the centre, it's already 11something. So we adjourned for lunch at somewhere nearby. The cold weather really makes us hungry. Luckily, lunch was great. Really tasty n full. By the time we got back to the hostel it's already abt 2.30pm.
Another guide was waiting for us already. Her name's Snow. She took us to the Drum Tower & Bell Tower then to the Great Mosque. All located near Muslim Street.
Both towers looked abt the same, they r located near each other and both have performances at certain timing. Not very interesting. Only thing there is u get to see the view of the city.

China Trip-Part 1
22/2- Last minute packing before leaving for China. Depart from Penang airport to LCCT at 10.30pm. Reach LCCT abt 11.25 and took a cab to Concorde Inn to rest for the night.
23/2-6am depart from Concorde Inn to LCCT again. At least we got some rest. Departure at 8.15am but checked in at 6.30am. Waited for the flight for 1 and half hours before boarding.
The flight took abt 5 hrs before reaching HangZhou. AirAsia X's cool as we can watch movies and got some entertainment. But of course you have to pay. It doesnt matter as long as it kept me company for the whole 5 hrs!
After lunch, we went to check in for our flight(Hainan Airlines). I waited so long for my turn. Then when almost reaching my turn, then only i realise many ppl there just don't queue!! Damn! So one person will gif the passport and i hold the lugguage. Have to squeeze with old ladies! Luckily, the person at the counter knew they weren't queueing up. So we got our turn 1st. Muahahah!!
After check in, we proceed to the departure hall waiting for boarding. Then when it's time to board, many ppl jump queue again =.=". I mean c'mon la..got seat number leh!!
The plane wasn't a very big one. Very hard to understand the air hostess' english. And i saw the card for emergency purpose being labelled "JUST IN CASE". I was puzzled when I first saw it. Wakakaka!
We arrived at Xi'an airport at about 6.15pm. Our driver was waiting for us already. I tried to go to the toilet at the airport and guess what? Cannot lock eh!! So forget it la...go back to hotel then only go.
The very first thing when i got into the car, i really tak biasa with the driver's side. It's on the left. Our's is on the right. Then i was also quite surprise by the traffic there. Scary lohhh! Like no traffic rules punya. Ppl can cross at anywhere anytime they want. Cars can even go at red light.
Finally reached hotel at 7.30pm like dat. Soooo tired and hungry. Decided to go outside to find food. So we went to Muslim Street to see if we can find anything. There were so many ppl at the place. Something like wat we call pasar malam here. But lots of makan stall. We tried the dumpling in soup. The soup a lil spicy. Oso ordered cold noodles. I preferred the cold noodles. Dumplings tasted weird. Somemore so big bowl.
We walked around for a while then took a cab back to hotel as we were tired already.

Watching Devil wears Prada
Reached HangZhou airport at abt 1.20pm. So hungry so we settled for lunch at McD before departing for Xi'an at 4pm. Wahlau, the McD's menu all in chinese! Both of us 'cheh kong'! So we jus simply pick. Guess wat? The McD so much better than in M'sia! After lunch, we went to check in for our flight(Hainan Airlines). I waited so long for my turn. Back to work
I'm back to work today. Nth much piled up thanks to my colleagues. Anyways, din haf much to do from now on. Another colleague taking over my job n training hers to do mine.
Will on my own from April onwards. Happy but a lil worried at the same time.
Will update my photos in facebook n friendster soon. Hopefully tonight. Haven't filtered out yet. Was too tired on Monday night itself when i got back. Then Tuesday had to run some errands and only manage to load the photos to comp at night.
Most of my photos at Terra-Cotta's blurred. The pits were too dark and i don really haf a user friendly cam. Managed to buy some postcards from the souvenir shop. At least can still see something la right.
Hopefully can upload them all by tonight!

Hello again
Here i am again blogging from HangZhou, China. Nth much here as compared to Xi'an. Hangzhou is a much more developed area than Xi'an. I like Xi'an more for the attractions, ppl and shopping. And things are much cheaper there!
Taxi's here are so expensive. Once u get into the cab, it costs u RMB10. Whereas in Xi'an, its only RMB6. Hangzhou got dono wat fuel surcharge somemore so extra RMB1. Xi'an is a smaller area, so u can jus walk from one place to another and no need to rely on cabs. In Hangzhou, we had to take cab every destination. seems like one place to another is quite a distance.
I jus came back from the West Lake boat tour. Got a lil seasick. Then now back in the hotel for tea and online. I'd much rather be in the hotel resting than goin out there.
